Delft University of Technology and Erasmus University Rotterdam share a single ambition: to conduct research and provide education of the highest quality, with a focus on attaining a leading position within the international academic community.In the field of law and innovation, such an ambition can only be achieved on the basis of:
1) legal knowledge of excellent quality in many different areas of law;
and
2) the ability and the desire to bring this knowledge to bear in a
multidisciplinary environment.
These considerations in particular have inspired the cooperation between TU Delft’s Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management and Erasmus University Rotterdam’s Faculty of Law. Both faculties have a distinguished record in terms of both quality and multi-disciplinary orientation. These elements have now come together in a ground-breaking joint venture: the Centre for Law & Innovation.
